COOKIE DECORATING:

Join Renee from Daisy Cakes and Bakes at Vend Marketplace Virginia for two fun-filled hours of decorating cookies with royal icing!

Renee will guide you through some beginner level cookie decorating techniques and introduce you to this addictive edible art. Renee makes hundreds of cookies on a weekly basis and has won multiple awards for her sugar craft, so is well placed to take you through the steps of decorating your cookies.

You’ll learn several icing techniques and create a set of royal iced cookies to be proud of! No previous experience is necessary as it is a beginner level class, designed for those who want to learn a new skill, or just have some foodie fun. Bring a friend or colleague, make it a lady’s morning out, or just bring yourself!

Guided instruction by an industry professional

Use of all equipment and tools

Sprinkles, sugar transfers and icing bags

Pre-baked vanilla sugar cookies

A box to take your cookies home

Notes:

The cookie decorating class will be held at Vend Marketplace where you can shop over 120 small businesses, including the Vend Café and Greenhouse. There are approximately 14 stairs up to the workshop space and no lift access.

This is an adult beginner class (18+ years for insurance purposes).

GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING:

Come and spend two magical hours decorating a gingerbread house together!

Renee from Daisy Cakes and Bakes will guide you through some royal icing decorating techniques and you’ll learn how to prevent your gingerbread house from collapsing (we’ve all been there)! Your gingerbread house for class will be assembled, but Renee will share her wealth of knowledge and show you how to construct a house to get the best results. Having made thousands of gingerbread houses over the years, and won multiple awards for her sugar craft, Renee is well placed to guide you through this fun workshop!
